As the seasons have changed & now the weather is following suite, I decided to pull out our sweaters, boots, & all the other cooler weather essentials.
With Klaire growing by the minute it seems these days, she was in much need of a couple new Fall essentials for around the homestead. Thankfully, she was even able to get another year out of a couple things.
Here are our Top 3 Toddler Wardrobe Picks for Fall:
We decided to go with rubber boots for Klaire this year. I mean, who doesn’t need an adorable pair of rubber boots, toddler or not?? Since Klaire’s foot is constantly growing as a 21 month old, I didn’t want to invest too much $$ in a pair BUT at the same time, I wanted them to meet our high quality standards.
After doing a little digging around on the internet, I discovered that not all rubber is created equal. Did you know that typical, unsafe rain boots can be full of harmful chemicals?
Stonz rain boots are made of 100% all natural rubber – no harmful lead, pvc, phthalates, cadmium, etc.
The paint is lead-free and the glue is formaldehyde-free, too!! They also have a 100% cotton lining which is perfect for allowing her feet to stay warm & dry. Klaire adores them & we can feel good about knowing they are safe for her little piggies to wear around the farm. Win, win for this mama!
But not just any pajamas… Warm, cozy jams for our girl. If you don’t already know this about me, now you will…. I am a Hanna Andersson pajama junkie. Klaire & I have quite the collection of 100% organic cotton Hanna Jams (aka #hannajams).
Whether it’s a Roots hoodie to wear while riding the 4-wheeler with her Daddy or a hand-made wool cardigan from her Nanny in Canada, our girl is always ready for a chilly day outside.
TIP – when buying sweaters for a little one, ALWAYS size up at least one size!
Roll up the sleeves & layer over clothes the first year.
After that, you can get another cold weather season or two out of it. Anytime I get the chance to get longer wear out of a piece for Klaire, I’m in.
P.S. All of these picks have been highly approved by Klaire. What fall essentials can your toddler not live without this time of year?
Till next time, y’all…
